ONE STOP SHOP FOR PRECLINICAL IMAGING SERVICES IN VIVO

Animascope is a biomedical services company fully dedicated to preclinical medical in vivo imaging. Animascope has solid scientific records and hands-on multidisciplinary expertise enabling us to establish the most appropriate imaging service protocol based on multimodality techniques in a wide range of therapeutic fields. Our mission is to support and accelerate the R&D projects of our customers, providing comprehensive and flexible contract services. The company was founded in 2008 in the region of Rhone-Alpes.

BIOMEDICAL IMAGING IN VIVO

Biomedical imaging in vivo is a cornerstone in clinical and preclinical studies. Non-invasive technologies facilitate studies of structures, functions and dysfunctions by real-time acquisition, processing and quantification of whole body images. Few subjects are sufficient for high speed and high resolution measurement of a broad range of parameters that can be compared in multimodality trials, within the same anatomical context.

PRECLINICAL MULTIMODALITY IMAGING

Preclinical imaging is a powerful, non-invasive approach for model validation studies, for phenotyping, as well as to assess efficacy and safety of therapeutics, for biodistribution, risk assessment of new chemical entities and to support translational medicine. Pharmacokinetics, distribution, efficacy and safety could be tested all at once while gaining results within days. Presymptomatic signs of pathology are detectable because the imaging endpoints are time to progression correlations in their anatomical context. Imaging accelerates R&D and reduces the attrition rate of drug discovery and development by reducing and refining the usage of animal models.

ANIMASCOPE R&D SERVICES

Animascope establishes the most appropriate protocols for a broad range of therapeutic fields such as cardiovascular, cell therapy and gene therapy, musculoskeletal, neurology, nephrology, oncology, reproduction and development. Services are based on standardized protocols and procedures. Nevertheless, every project is tailored to meet the customer needs and to optimize outcome and readout. Services include protocol design, image acquisition, imaging processing, recording, reporting and biomedical evaluation. Pilot studies and full trials are completed in time-frame of days. In addition, Animascope provides software development, training and consultancy services plus facility management support.
